The ”Methodological guide for monitoring antibiotic residues and antimicrobial resistance in the environment as a supporting instrument for an enhanced quality management of surface waters and groundwater (EnviroAMR)” implementation team, is pleased to invite you the 3rd EnviroAMR Workshop entitled ”Identification of bacterial strain using molecular DNA markers”. The workshop will take place Wednesday, February 3rd, from 10:00 am, at Institute of Bioological Research, no. 48, Republicii St., Cluj-Napoca.

- 30 – 11.00 The importance of molecular DNA markers. Amplification and isolation of 16S rDNA from bacterial strains. Preparing samples for sequencing.
- 00 – 11.30 Identification of bacterial strains (taxa) using 16S rDNA molecular marker – phylogenetic analysis.
- 30 – 12.00 Coffee break.
- 00 – 14.00 Practical approach and laboratory training for the proposed methods.
